Friendly-hours credit means that if you are a prepayment/PAYG customer and you run out of credit after 5pm on a weekday, at any point over the weekend, or on a Bank Holiday, your heat supply won't be suspended. However, if credit isn't added to the meter before 9am the next working day (when friendly-hours credit ends), your supply will then be immediately suspended until you top up and have available credit on your meter.
