Heat networks are a proven low carbon solution for delivering heat from a central energy centre through a network of highly insulated pipes to supply heating and hot water to homes and businesses connected to the network.

Heat networks are better for the environment than installing a gas boiler in every home, for this reason Government planning policies require Developers of new homes to install heat networks to help reduce carbon emissions. Our heat networks are powered by a mixture of low carbon combined heat and power (CHP) engines and traditional boilers which produce less carbon emissions than just relying on traditional fossil fuels like gas.

As well as their environmental benefits, not having a gas supply or gas boiler in each home means that heat networks are also safer.

Because of their many benefits heat networks are extremely common across Europe and are becoming common practice in the UK in most major cities.
